Our story
Bryant started Elite in January 2017. After a few months of detailing vehicles, he saw the same need in the boating industry, researched the products and processes, and started working the marinas around Savannah.
After more than a year and a half on the road, Elite opened its first shop in Statesboro in 2018 and hired another full-time employee. A second location for vehicles followed in 2022. When Elite moved into its larger shop at 23060 US 80 E, the second location closed in 2023.
Boats and coatings each took their own training. Bryant went to gelcoat and fiberglass repair school, and he learned ceramic coating application from a mentor in Australia. He still researches new products and methods to this day. He credits his faith in God for where Elite is today.
Today Elite Coatings and Films does ceramic coatings and films: ceramic coating, paint protection film and the paint correction that goes under them, and film and ceramic coating for boats. We also put clear film on countertops and outdoor kitchens, and teach other detail shops to coat boats in our System X training. Detailing, boat restorations and maintenance packages are done by Elite Mobile Detailing, our detailing side.
