Our own 3-year workmanship warranty

Every job we do carries a 3-year in-house warranty on our work. If a film edge lifts or a coating fails because of how it was installed, we redo it.

It does not cover damage from things you were told to avoid after the job, like automatic car washes or a pressure washer held close to film edges. This is on top of the brand warranty, not instead of it.

Ceramic coating: System X

Covered: oxidation, loss of gloss, UV damage, acid rain and chalking on the coated paint. If the coating fails at that, System X decides whether it is re-treated by an approved installer or the product cost is refunded, up to $1,000.

Not covered: swirls, scratches, scuffs and chips, hard water spots, clear coat failure, damage from brush car washes, accidents, hail and neglect.

To keep it: the warranty card is registered within 30 days. A yearly inspection by an approved installer, within 30 days of the anniversary, is required, and the installer sets the fee. Wash by hand or in touchless washes only. A panel that gets repainted after an accident needs re-treating within 30 days.

Coverage is for the owner it is registered to and does not transfer. Full terms: System X automotive warranty.

Paint protection film: CovrGard

Covered: cracking, crazing, bubbling, discoloring and other breakdown of the film from UV exposure. The remedy is replacement film, and the claim cannot be more than what the film cost.

Not covered: peeling, bubbles from install, misalignment, damage from road debris, misuse and harsh chemicals.

To keep it: we register it within 7 days of install. Keep your invoice and follow the after-care for as long as you own the car.

Coverage is for the original buyer while they own the car and does not transfer. Full terms: CovrGard warranty.

Boat paint protection film: Yacht Armor

Covered: cracking, bubbling and yellowing of the film for 3 years from install. Yacht Armor replaces or removes the film, or refunds its cost, and the labor comes from an authorized installer.

Not covered: scratches, scuffs and chips, collisions and storms, the waterline and below, walking and fish handling areas, commercial boats, and how well water beads off.

To keep it: the registration card and proof of purchase go in within 30 days. A yearly inspection by a Yacht Armor installer, within 30 days of the install anniversary, is required. Use approved cleaners only, nothing abrasive.

Coverage is for the owner at install and does not transfer. Full terms: Yacht Armor guarantee.

Boat ceramic coating: System X

Our boat packages use System X Max G+, rated 3 to 5 years on a boat, or Phantom Marine, rated 5 years. System X marine coverage depends on a yearly service by a Certified System X installer. Miss the yearly service and the remaining coverage is lost. Scratches, chips, the waterline and below, and walking areas are not covered.

Full terms: System X marine warranty. We also teach other shops to apply it: see System X training.

Keeping your warranty

  1. Keep your paperwork

The warranty card and invoice you get when the job is done. We register the warranty with System X, CovrGard or Yacht Armor for you.

  2. Wash it the right way

By hand or touchless, with the products we show you. No brush washes and nothing abrasive.

  3. Book the yearly inspection

System X and Yacht Armor require one every year. Missing it ends the warranty.

If something goes wrong

  1. Call or text us

912-225-8940, with a photo of the problem. Report it within 30 days of noticing it.

  2. We look at it

We see it in good light and gather what the brand needs: your card, invoice and photos.

  3. We fix it or file the claim

If it is our workmanship, we redo it under our 3-year warranty. If it is the product, the brand approves the claim and we do the repair as an authorized installer.

Questions people ask

Does the warranty transfer if I sell the car or boat?

Not for System X on cars, CovrGard or Yacht Armor. Those stay with the original owner. System X marine coverage can pass to a new owner who keeps up the yearly service.

Do I need a yearly inspection?

For System X coatings and Yacht Armor film, yes. Missing it ends the warranty. CovrGard film does not require one.

Does the warranty cover rock chips?

No. None of the brands cover chips or scratches. Film takes the chip so your paint does not, but the film itself is not warrantied against impact.

Do you guarantee your own work?

Yes, for 3 years. If a film edge lifts or a coating fails because of the install, we redo it. Damage from things you were told to avoid, like automatic car washes, is not covered.

Who registers the warranty?

We do. We register System X, CovrGard and Yacht Armor warranties for every customer.

Whose terms apply?

The brand’s. This page sums up each brand’s published terms as of October 2026. If anything here differs, the brand’s own terms decide.
