Film for wear, coating for upkeep
Sun and salt are hard on gelcoat. It dulls, then chalks, then fades, and fenders and docks wear through the shine where they rub.
Boat paint protection film takes the wear on the spots that get abused, from $25 per square foot. Boat ceramic coating keeps the whole boat glossy and easy to wash down, from $75 per foot. Many boats get both. Gelcoat that is already chalky gets sanded and buffed first, priced in addition.

Make, model, length and a few daylight photos. Call, text or use the form.
We look at it
We check the gelcoat and tell you what it needs: film, a coating or both, and any sanding or buffing first.
Final price, date and place
You get the final number before any work starts. We work where the boat is kept, at our shop, or we pick it up. Reminders come before the appointment.
3 to 7 days
Most boat jobs take 3 to 7 days, depending on the work.
Back on the water
Care instructions in person and by email, sample care products, and the warranty card for the film or coating.
Boat prices
Starting prices as posted by the shop. Your final price comes after we see the paint or gelcoat in person. See every package and price.
Before you book
Do you work on boats from Savannah and the coast?
Yes. We do Yacht Armor work along the whole Georgia coast and within 50 miles of Charleston, including Savannah and Tybee Island. Or bring the boat to the shop, or have us pick it up for a fee.
What should I send for a quote?
The make, model and length, and a few photos in daylight of the hull and the areas you care about.
My gelcoat is chalky. Can you still film or coat it?
Yes, after it is sanded and buffed, which is priced in addition. Film and coatings seal in what is under them. Full restorations are done by Elite Mobile Detailing.
Do you do boat washes or maintenance?
Not under this name. Washes and maintenance packages are done by Elite Mobile Detailing, our detailing side.
